Important info for Windows users (SmartScreen warnings):

At the moment, Windows Defender SmartScreen might show a warning like this: "Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.".

If you see this message, please click on "More information" and proceed with the installation anyway. This action helps SmartScreen learn that software from FeelYourSound is safe and trustworthy.

I scanned the installer with over 40 virus scanners, and all of them confirmed that the file is clean.

PS: My previous security certificate provider unfortunately went bankrupt, so I had to switch to a new one. Because of this change, SmartScreen doesn’t "recognize" FeelYourSound right now. It usually takes a few weeks for trust levels to build up again (yes, it's a bit frustrating...). Thanks for your help!

The new Source modes

There are many new Source modes available in Sundog 4. To find out more about them, click on the "Source" field, then hover over the different mode buttons.

Chords View: Bass and flow settings

Sundog supports adding dedicated bass notes to your chords now. Go to Settings -> "Chords View: Bass settings" and choose either "Double bass note" or "Add root bass". The first one will simply duplicate the lowest note of the chord. The second one will find out the root note of the chord and then add it as the bass note.

There is also a new "Flow" menu available. Go to Settings -> "Chords View: Flow settings". Pick "Inversion flow", and Sundog will invert the chord notes in such a way that they will stay close to the root note of the scale.
